Cross the Thresholds in this Sacred Space

Embrace the Sacred Energy of Goddess Brigid: A Hands-On Workshop of Healing, Crafting, and Lore with our experienced guide through the Celtic Calendar Angie Kinsella. Step into the mystical world of Goddess Brigid, where ancient traditions, powerful healing plants, and creative crafts intertwine in a day of connection, learning, and sacred ritual. Join us for a transformative workshop where we’ll explore the rich legacy of Brigid—the goddess of healing, poetry, and smithing—while honouring the changing seasons.

Why attend?

  • Reconnect with nature as we venture into the wild to forage for healing plants that are sprouting this Spring. Learn about the powerful cleansing plants of the season and how to harness their energy to heal and renew yourself. Through an informative foraging walk, you’ll discover which plants are essential for this time of year and how to use them for your own healing rituals.
  • Tap into your creativity by Crafting and Creating with Intention with hands-on crafting as we make Brigid’s sacred dolls. Using straw, fabric, and your own intention, you’ll craft a beautiful doll symbolizing protection, healing, and new beginnings.

Key elements of the workshop:

  • Share the stories Immerse yourself in the rich stories of Brigid, the daughter of the Dagda, through the sharing of ancient poetry and lore. Discover how she became the goddess of healing, poetry, and blacksmithing. These stories, passed down through generations, offer profound wisdom and insight into the role of the divine feminine in Celtic culture.
  • Water Blessings and Fire Rituals No workshop honouring Brigid would be complete without invoking the power of water and fire. Bring with you sacred well water to create a refreshing “spritz” bottle—a powerful tool for spiritual cleansing. Then, as we circle around the fire, we’ll honour the seasons and the Celtic wheel of the year, culminating in an inspired fire ritual to seal our healing and crafting work.
