Climate Think Workshop with Raoul Empey from Sustineo

Raoul became a Climate Reality Leader in 2015 at a training in Miami by former US Vice President Al Gore.  He is also a Certified Energy Manager with the Association of Energy Engineers (CEM) and a Chartered Engineer with Engineers Ireland (CEng) with a background in the construction industry.  He started out at a consulting civil and structural engineer in London before travelling the world and then settling down in Co. Wicklow.

Raoul has been an energy advisor on the Sustainable Engergy Authority of Ireland’s (SEAI) panels for its public sector and industry programmes since 2012.  He mentors some of Bord Bia’s clients on writing sustainability plans under its Origin Green programme.  Raoul also works with a number of private sector clients ranging from large enterprises with multinational presences to newly sprung microenterprises setting out on their journey.
