Jesus said, “Everyone who drinks this water will be thirsty again, but whoever drinks the water I give them will never thirst. Indeed, the water I give them will become in them a spring of water welling up to eternal life.” John 4:13-14
Join us in the beautiful garden of Ireland, Co. Wicklow, for an interdenominational, intergenerational retreat on the feminine presence within Scripture and the Book of Nature. This week will be both contemplative and experiential with quiet time, along with shared group activities and discussion.
Drawing from the Catholic, Orthodox, Anglican and Charismatic traditions, in this 5-day retreat, we’ll consider the feminine presence in the Bible. Taylor and Mel will facilitate an experiential exploration guided by selected scripture, dream work, contemplative prayer and time in nature.
In our time together, we’ll explore the Creation Story of Genesis and Eve alongside the Woman at the Well, Mary Magdalene and Mother Mary. In these 5 days, each woman will be invited to journey with a biblical woman. Through our contemplation and sharing, we’ll remain open and curious to each of these shimmering historic women and see where the Spirit guides us.
Throughout our time we’ll sit in circle with the community of gathered women from all generations. We facilitate in a way that honours all the wisdom inherent in each woman’s lived experience, named and unnamed.
The woman said to him, “Sir, give me this water so that I won’t get thirsty and have to keep coming here to draw water.” John 4:15
Perhaps as we find the woman in the Bible, we’ll find more of ourselves too…
This retreat is suitable for women of all stages of life. Our programme is designed to facilitate intergenerational connection that adds meaning and depth to each participants life.
If you have been on a religious path all your life or are newly returning to your Christian faith – you are welcome.
This late summer retreat will be a time to connect with like-minded women and to rest in nature. Join us and take in the joy, beauty and abundance of our Organic Farm and gardens. After a week in our retreat centre, we know you will leave feeling rejuvenated, reinvigorated and deeply nourished.
