Join Moira Byrne of the Wicklow Patchwork Group, for a three-hour natural dyeing and stamping workshop. With years of experience, our guide will teach you how to dye cotton using simple natural materials that can be found in our rich Autumn harvest. During this workshop participants will get an overview of dyeing fabric in a number of ways. You will eco-dye reused clothes and fabrics using leaves and plants. You will also use synthetic dyes and stamping techniques to print a cotton tote bag which you will take home from the session.

Moira Byrne
Moira Byrne has been dyeing and printing fabrics with a number of techniques for the last 15 years. She has a City and Guilds certificate in Textiles and Design and a certificate in Visual Art Practice from National College of Art and Design, Moira gives workshops on fabric dyeing/printing to textile and craft groups as well as to children's groups.
