An Tairseach Organic Farm & Ecology Centre presents in collaboration with Columban Ecological Institute, presents ‘The Third Day of Creation’ with John Feehan (5 days)

WHEN:    Monday 27th May to Friday 31st May 2024

Arrive Monday 3-6pm, evening meal 6pm. Full days 9am to 5pm Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday, breakfast, lunch & evening meal provided. Depart Friday morning 11am after breakfast.

PRICE:     €575 (inclusive of deposit) consists of course content, full board and food which will be prepared by a chef, using organic produce from the An Tairseach farm and gardens. Non-residential: €300 includes course content, morning tea/coffee/snack and midday meal.

ABOUT THIS COURSE

In the Book of Genesis God’s plan for the Greening of the Earth only gets two paragraphs: and they only refer to flowering plants. However, with our ever-growing human ability to understand the language in which God’s own Old Diaries are written, the story of the Greening of Earth has expanded into one of the most wonderous in the whole of Creation. Join us for five days of talks, expeditions, and indoor encounter sessions, during all of which we will keep a prayerful eye on what it means for our understanding of God’s plan for creation and how we live our own lives.

ABOUT DR. JOHN FEEHAN

John Feehan is an Irish geologist, botanist, author, and broadcaster. He was a Senior Lecturer in the School of Agriculture and Food Science at University College Dublin. He has devoted his attention to the interface between religion and science. This course is based on his book on creation spirituality, The Singing Heart of the World. His new book on creation spirituality, Every Bush Aflame: God in the Natural World was released in 2021.
