ABOUT THIS COURSE

The story of the Universe is more than a lesson in science. It is literally our genealogy as a species. Like all creation stories, it gives us the context for knowing who we are, how we fit into the amazing unfolding journey, and how we might come to understand the Divine. Without creation, we cannot know God. If our understanding of creation is faulty, then so is our understanding of God (Thomas Aquinas). In the few days we have together, we will begin to explore how this new Cosmology expands our faith, stretches our images of the Divine, and provides us with a much-needed relevancy.

Tuesday: Emerging Consciousness

Wednesday: The Story-Promise and Hope

Thursday: Cosmic Paschal Mystery: Dying into Life

Friday: Jesus and the Story
